Websites are being constantly attacked. Some attack vectors are on the server, and some are on the client-side.
Smart BOTS are incursion to our websites! Some are good, but most of them are BAD, and traditional security controls don't know how to handle them...
Attacks on the client side are even harder to identify and fight, as the developer has very little visibility of what is happening on the user browser. Third-party scripts are the number one risk from the client side.
In this session, we will discuss the risks and mitigation of third party scripts we often use while developing frontend, and these Bots aliens. Some of the topics we will cover:

  • Account take over attacks
  • Denial of Inventory
  • Magecart
  • More...
We will discuss what developers should know about these attack threats, why most existing security controls are not protecting these attack vectors, and ways to fight against malicious bots & scripts.
