Daniel David is a professor of clinical cognitive sciences (clinical psychology/psychopathology/psychotherapy), president of the Romanian Psychological Association and the rector of the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is also an adjunct professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, USA (Department of Population Health and Science - Center for Behavioral Oncology), and the research director of the prestigious Albert Ellis Institute (New York, USA). Professor David is one of the international leaders in using complex technology in psychology/psychotherapy (e.g., robotic-based psychotherapy; virtual/augmented reality psychotherapy) and at the national level he is one of the pioneers in using advanced technology in the education process (e.g., online/mixed realities). Professor David was included in the top 2% most cited scientists in the world in 2019 (based on SCOPUS).
