Refactoring has always been a time-consuming activity that becomes harder to manage the longer it is postponed. As AI has become more and more mainstream and as we're preparing to undergo a technology shift that would require a large-scale refactoring effort, we looked towards AI to ease our burden. According to our findings, the best way of employing it seems to be using strong templates and self refactoring feedback loops which have the potential of automating a big chunk of our refactoring journey.
